Autoimmunity doesn’t mean weakness. I know because I’ve lived with an autoimmune condition for over 30 years. And today, I coach women over 50 to feel strong, resilient, and capable, not in spite of their diagnosis, but because of the strategies and support I’ve discovered along the way.

Living with Autoimmune Disease: What I’ve Learned

Three decades of living with autoimmunity have taught me what doesn’t work - quick fixes, extreme diets, ignoring symptoms - and what truly does: creating a sustainable foundation for health that supports your body and mind together.

With the right combination of gentle self-care, strength training, stress regulation, and nutrition, I’ve seen women build energy, reduce pain, and regain confidence in their second act of life. I’ve learned that healing doesn’t come from doing more; it comes from doing the right things consistently.

I want to be clear: I don’t coddle, and I also don’t push so hard that you feel defeated. My role is to meet you where you are today, whether you’re in the middle of a flare, struggling with stress, or simply tired of waking up achy,  and then guide you toward strength and confidence with compassion.

We work together to find the right balance of effort and self-care. Some weeks that means focusing on movement, other weeks it may mean prioritizing rest, sleep, or nutrition. Over time, this creates a foundation of trust between you and your body, and that’s when lasting healing happens.
